ГАЗ 2330 "Тигр", многофункциональный полноприводный автомобиль
История создания
Заказ на постройку многоцелевой армейской машины поступил от военного ведомства Объединенных Арабских Эмиратов. Для проектирования было создано конструкторское бюро King Abdullah II & Development Bureau. В него вошли конструкторы ОАО ГАЗ и нижегородской инжиниринговой фирмы ПКТ, которая является дочерней структурой ГАЗа. Формальным заказчиком проекта выступала многопрофильная фирма Bin Jabr Group Ltd. В Нижнем Новгороде сделали три машины с разными кузовами, которые были представлены в марте 2001 года на международной выставке вооружения IDEX-2001 в Абу-Даби.
Назначение
Специальная машина ГАЗ-2330 "Тигр" предназначена для использования в качестве транспортного средства и оперативно-служебной машины МВД России при проведении контртеррористических операций, выполнении задач территориальной обороны, оказании содействия пограничной службе, включая транспортирование личного состава при совершении марша, защиты экипажа от огнестрельного оружия и взрывных устройств.
Особенности
Независимая торсионная подвеска всех колес и мощный двигатель обеспечивают машине исключительную проходимость на бездорожье и скорость до 140 км/ч на шоссе. Благодаря колесным редукторам дорожный просвет составляет 400 мм. "Тигр" способен форсировать водные преграды глубиной до 1,2 м. Автомобиль имеет автоматическое централизованное регулирование давления воздуха в шинах в зависимости от дорожного покрытия.
Автомобиль оборудован гидроусилителем рулевого управления. В боковых стенках "Тигра" имеются бойницы, в крыше - два люка, в салоне, кроме размещения экипажа, предусмотрены места для установки радиостанции и блокиратора радиоуправляемых взрывных устройств.
